After meeting up with Malakai and his friend Charlotte in Seattle we headed to an underground dive called Sangre. It’s a great club that has an old swing vibe to it. Charlotte and I danced and got to know each other. Even though she’s married part of me is drawn to her. I felt that she shouldn’t be going through the lose of a close friend without her husband at her side. She needed someone to talk to and I was happy to lend an ear and a shoulder. As the night wound down and morning was on the horizon she slipped out of the club without saying bye to me or Malakai. Kai and I hadn’t noticed that she was gone till we started to head out to go snowboarding. Kai didn’t think anything of it at the time and we made our way to Mount Rainer to do some backcountry boarding with the hopes to stumble across some humans.

Once we were done boarding Kai headed off without me and I drove Sun Flower back to Seattle in the early morning traffic. Sometime during the drive Kai called and left me a message saying “Get over here as fast as you can. We have trouble.” I sent him a text and a little later I learned that Charlotte is missing and that all of her possessions have been left behind. I had only meet Charlotte a few hours before, but could tell by the tone of Kai’s voice that this isn’t normal behavior.

So, now I’ve meet up Kai and we have decided to go and look for her. He fears that she might have been taken by someone called Cassian. I guess he has it out for her and is stronger then she is. I’m not sure who he is, or what I’m getting myself into. All I know is that the Southern War in United States has made history throughout our kind and Charlotte was a part of it and this might have something to do with that.

We have split up and I am currently heading North in the hopes to catch her sent and track her. I’ve been heading through hillsides, and only slowing down when I end up in a city or a town. Right now I’m about 60 miles north of Seattle and haven’t found her scent. I’m going to continue north till I reach the Canadian boarder and then will head east for a while.
